The highest DAM would be:. A shot from firing:.

Tiny tot mini nukes (1.88x explosive damage), used by a player with the perks:.Lord Death, Bloody Mess, Demolition Expert Rank 3, and Thought You Died. That would give an impact damage of 565.3 points plus an explosive damage of 2019.12 points. Adding and rounding, you'd do about 2584 damage in a single hit, assuming the impact damage is split between each tiny tot.As for DPS?

If you use the:. with:. Hdtracks download manager for mac. against:. A totally unarmoured enemy and have:.

Bloody Mess, Lord Death, Ain't Like That Now, Fast Shot, and Rapid Reload, you'd do:24.85 DAM per shot, which rounds down to 24, and fire 42 times per second, 1008 DPS for just under 3 seconds. EDIT: Neither of these scenarios take into account chems such as psycho, rushing water, or turbo. I know you were asking for New Vegas, but just for funsies (and because the others have already covered NV pretty thoroughly with Esther, CZ57, the gatling laser, and the 12.7mm SMG) I thought I'd chime in for FO3.Obviously you're not going to beat the which does 12880 per shot without taking perks into account, and has a DPS of over 20000.But that just seems unfair, the weapon was designed to be overkill.

I think the other two contenders are and the. While their damage doesn't look like much on its own, both of them fire multiple projectiles/beams, and each one can crit individually. As such, the Terrible Shotgun is capable of doing 1240 damage in a single shot- more if you can land some or all of those on the head, a luxury that explosives don't get. The Metal Blaster is similarly able to do 839 damage in a single shot, plus headshot damage.I'm also quite surprised that nobody has mentioned for Fallout NV. With perks alone it can get to just over 1000 DPS; with 40mm Plasma Grenades loaded, it does more than 1300.

I don't see Mercy getting much love on this sub very often, but the few times I've used it, I can confirm that it has absolutely destroyed everything in my way in seconds flat. I've more or less found that if something has no armour, and it needs to die 20 seconds ago, the 12.7mm SMG coupled with JHP ammo kills stuff pretty well. Convert skp to pdf.

Relevant perks and max skill gives you 891 DPS.The Sprtl-Wood 9000 gatling laser from GRA can give you 900 DPS with max charge ammo with -10 DT and 16 base, so will tear up everything short of power armour.Next up, we got the CZ57. Perks factored in, 650DPS. Give it some JSP hand load rounds, and you're pulling 845DPS with -10DT. Bit lower, but considerably more durable since the gun has 60% more HP than the Sprtl-Wood and JSP ammo is 50% faster degradation, not 150%. It also gets those lovely little -25 AP rounds that 5mm has, and can take hollow points. 1137DPS.Then, just get high on drugs.Honourable mention to Esther, with Tiny Tots, can get a DPS with reload factored (according to the Fallout wikia) in the regions of 1100.

Does hitting multiple things at a time count?. I am playing my first energy weapons playthrough and saw a Gauss Rifle and was overjoyed to pick it up. Even at like 20% condition it had massive damage and dps compared to my already decent energy repertoire.I get out to the wastes to finally test it out and found it has a 5 round clip that empties after every shot while leaving you hanging with a pretty long reload time.I realized it can be best utilized as a one shot massive penetration opener or midrange sniper. It has a great looking effect when hitting enemies and features a lot of bang for its buck in terms of dmg to ammo output. I like to use bulk energy rounds to keep repairs lower while slightly sacrificing but outputting still massive damage.Really matching the best damage and weapon to the situation is best.

But I'm super excited to find this unique now!!

How realistic? From your character description I would assume you're going for light blades, so going for Chance's Knife early on in the game would be a good idea. You need a shovel though, you need to dig it up from his grave, which is near the marked location 'Tribal Village' north of Goodsprings. If you have Lonesome Road, the Bowie Knife and it's unique variant Blood-Nap have very good damage. High-ranking legionaries also carry the Machete Gladius, which is a kukri knife with good damage.Millenia has done a few combat knives too. My character in my current playthrough actually has the Bayonet from the M1897 mod as the melee weapon. 0001AceGooberPosts: 294Join date: 2015-07-02Age: 53Location: Northern CaliforniaSubject: Re: Best Melee Weapons in Fallout New Vegas Fri Dec 18, 2015 1:18 am.

I either use the super sledge or the combat knife. I like the super sledge but it can be a bit clunky to use outside of VATS because when you miss, you have to wait like a second or two to get another swing in. I can get sneak kills with the combat knife but it really isn't recommended for armored targets regardless because it sometimes won't kill 'em and they end up shooting at me and alerting their buddies if they are present. I used to use the Katana (GRA) but I am currently doing a play through without GRA weapons.
